1.
Dieß ist das Wort des Herrn, welches geschah zu Micha von Maresa , zur

1.
Wehe denen, die Schaden zu thun trachten und gehen mit bösen

Darum spricht der Herr also: Siehe , ich gedenke über dieß

Zu derselben Zeit wird man einen Spruch von euch machen, und

Aber mein Volk hat sich aufgemacht wie ein Feind, denn sie rauben

Darum macht euch auf, ihr müsset davon, ihr sollt hier nicht
Arise ye , and depart ; for this [is] not

[your] rest : because it is polluted , it shall

11.
Wenn ich ein Irrgeist wäre und ein Lügenprediger, und

predigte, wie sie saufen und schwelgen
[saying] , I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink

12.
Ich will aber dich, Jakob, versammeln ganz und

1.
Und ich sprach: Höret doch , ihr Häupter im Hause Jakob, und ihr

Darum, wenn ihr nun zum Herrn schreien werdet, wird er

Ich aber bin voll Kraft und Geistes des Herrn, voll
But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD , and of

Israel seine Sünde anzeigen darf.

So höret doch dieß , ihr Häupter im Hause Jakob, und ihr

10.
Die ihr Zion mit Blut bauet, und Jerusalem mit Unrecht .
They build up Zion with blood , and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11.
Ihre Häupter richten um Geschenke, ihre Priester lehren
The heads thereof judge for reward , and the priests thereof teach
um Lohn, und ihre Propheten wahrsagen um Geld ,
for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they
verlassen sich auf den Herrn und sprechen: Ist nicht der Herr unter uns? Es
lean upon the LORD , and say , [Is] not the LORD among us ?

12.
Darum wird Zion um euretwillen wie ein Feld zerpflügt, und

Micha / Micah 4.
1.
In den letzten Tagen aber wird der Berg ,
But in the last days it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain

Warum hängst du dich denn jetzt an andere Freunde? Ist

Lieber, leide doch solches Wehe, und krächze , du Tochter
Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of
Zion, wie eine in Kindesnöthen, denn du mußt zwar

Ja die Uebrigen aus Jakob werden unter den Heiden bei vielen

Denn deine Hand wird siegen wider alle deine Widerwärtigen, daß alle

Zu derselben Zeit, spricht der Herr, will ich

Und will die Städte deines Landes ausrotten und alle

Und will die Zauberer bei dir ausrotten, daß
And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand ; and thou shalt
keine Zeichendeuter bei dir bleiben sollen.
have no [more] soothsayers :
12.
Ich will deine Bilder und Götzen
Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out
von dir ausrotten, daß du nicht mehr sollst anbeten

Und will deine Haine zerbrechen und
